Why I went quiet, and what I built

I went quiet on here for a while. Here is what I was actually doing.

I live in Miami and I barely saw the sun for months. Head down, throwing ideas at the wall, breaking and rebuilding complicated AI agents for close to a thousand hours, until I had it narrowed to a few simple tools that fix most of what actually hurts a local business.

For years I lived in marketing. That was Endgame. And I learned something the hard way. Most businesses do not lose money because their marketing is broken. They lose it after the lead comes in. The call that goes to voicemail. The estimate nobody follows up on. The job that quietly slips because the owner is the only one holding it all together.

More leads do not fix that. More ads do not fix that. Better systems do.

So I built BuildWithBooz.

BWB helps local service businesses find the gaps that cost them calls, estimates, and jobs, then fix the ones worth fixing. This is not AI for the sake of AI. It is the opposite. Find the leak, prove what it costs, fix what pays. Sometimes the answer is a system. Sometimes the answer is to leave something alone.

Endgame is not gone. It comes back later, built around enterprise software. If that is your world, reach out privately and we will talk.

For now I am heads down building this, and I am going to share what I find along the way. The real teardowns. The stuff that actually leaks money in a service business, and what to do about it.

I am also building a kill switch for AI agents, a way to keep a human in control when one goes sideways. It is still in development, but more on that soon.

I am not rushing back out into the sun just yet. I think what is coming is going to matter to a lot of the people reading this. If you run a local service business, stick around. Some of this is going to sound a little too familiar.
